This page is for when Dance Camp North is held at Lost Lake. In 2023, Dance Camp North will be at the in-town dance hall, NOT at Lost Lake. We hope to return to Lost Lake in 2024.
Dance Camp North is located about an hour south of Fairbanks along the Richardson Hwy. Heading south, there is a turnout to the right near the south end of Birch Lake. The camp is in a rural setting with a gravel road. You can leave your high heels behind.
There is a plywood dance floor that can accommodate all the dancers as well as several meeting rooms for workshops. It also serves as the dining area and all campers help to set up and break down the tables for meals.
All meals are prepared by kitchen staff hired for the event. Meals can likely meet the most exacting of dietary restrictions, which would be noted on your registration form.
There are cabins and tent sites available for accommodations on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are bath-houses, a full kitchen for the staff.
