Dance Camp North 2013 is of course over. We are now preparing for Dance Camp North 2014. The information below is just for reference.
This year’s dance band will be the Great Bear Trio. They were last at Dance Camp North in 2009 and are back by popular demand. The caller is Adina Gordon, in demand around the country. This will be Adina’s first trip to Fairbanks and we are fortunate to have her.
There is still room to register for Dance Camp North 2013. Here’s our Welcome Campers letter that may provide site info about our camp. Here is a link to the Dance Camp North 2013 Schedule.
Note that it is a multi-step step process to register. Sorry for the extra challenge. We are exploring ways to make this easier, but aren’t there yet.
1. Read the Release of Liability Form
2. Fill out the Registration Form. This form is able to be filled out electronically, but to do so, may need to be opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader instead of through your web browser. Save it to your computer and either email to dancecampnorth@contraborealis.org or print and snail mail.
For some Mac users, the default for opening pdf files is Preview. Unfortunately, Preview is unable to create the format needed. You can try to open Adobe Reader first, then open the registration file from the program. You can also set your default for .pdf files to be Adobe Reader – instructions at this website.
If all else fails, please fill out the form, print it out and send it to us at Contra Borealis Dancers, PO Box 84084, Fairbanks, AK 99708. Alternately, you can fax it to 907-488-9608. If you still have problems, send us an email with the necessary information and we’ll take it from there.
If you want to know if you are a current member, send an email request to dcn@contraborealis.org. Most people use Dance Camp as a method to renew their annual membership.

Note that ‘item price’ you need to enter in the Paypal form is the total $ amount. If you don’t have a Paypal account, you can pay by credit card if you click on the “Don’t have a Paypal account?” which will bring up the “Pay with a debit or credit card” card screen. Geez, wasn’t technology supposed to make life easier?
